oNLINE AND TEXT-TO-GIVE FAQ'S

1. How secure is text-to-give and online giving?

All financial information is stored with bank level security. All information is encrypted and stored by our banking partner to Level 1 PCI compliant standards. Level 1 PCI compliance is a set of rules stated by credit card companies and audited by an independent third party, Level 1 PCI is the highest possible rating. Additionally all transmission to our banking partner and on our site is via an encrypted HTTPS connection. 

2. What forms of payment will be accepted via online giving and text-to-give?

We will accept electronic check (ACH), debit and credit. Credit card options include MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

3. Will online giving or text-to-give cost me anything extra?

No. The church will be managing the services for you. It will be as easy (and won't cost anything) as shopping online. For text-to-give, be aware of your text message allotments through your wireless carrier. Sending a text-to-give does count as a text message credit if you are not on an unlimited plan. Additional charges may apply if you go over your text message limit. 

4. How long does it take to give?

Giving online will take the same amount of time as it does to fill out a check. In fact, after your first time giving you can set-up optional recurring gifts which will save you even more time. Text-to-give takes less than one minute for first time giving. After that, it only takes about 10 seconds to give. 

5. When can I give?

Both online and text-to-give is 24/7. That means not matter the day or time you can give.

6. Will happens if I type in the wrong amount?

Don't worry if you missed a key or typed in a wrong number when you gave via text or online. Both text-to-give and online payments can be reversed if there was an error made.
